Pranayama Mantra

Prana the vital force pervades in all the three worlds (below the earth, the earth and above the earth). All the activities are directed by prana. To that very prana we request to protect us as a mother protects her children. We also request the prana to simulate our intellect.

For Stimulation — Cyclic Meditation

When the mind gets to a state of drowsiness, stimulate and awaken it; As it starts speeding up and distractions set in, calm it down. Once the equilibrium is achieved, do not let it go. Do this again and again.. - Mandukya Upanishada

For felicity with Guru — Trataka meditation

May he (God) Protect us both (the Teacher and the Student), May he nourish us both, May we work together with energy and not be hostile to each other.

Shanthi Mantra (closing)

May All be Happy, May All be Free from Illness. May All see what is Auspicious, May no one Suffer.

Good Morning Elements..

Aum! O gods, may we hear auspicious words with the ears;
While engaged in yagnas,
May we see auspicious things with the eyes;
While praising the gods with steady limbs,
May we enjoy a life that is beneficial to the gods.
May Indra of ancient fame be auspicious to us;
May the supremely rich (or all-knowing) Pusa (god of the earth)
Be propitious to us;
May Garuda, the destroyer of evil,
Be well disposed towards us;
May Brihaspati ensure our welfare.
Aum! Peace! Peace! Peace!

Patanjali Prayer

I respectfully bow down with folded hands and offer my salutations to Sage Patañjali, the highest among the Munis (sages), who has — presented the remedies for removing the impurities of the Chitta (mind) through his treatise on Yoga, contributed to language through his treatise on grammar (Patanjala Mahabhashya) and healed the impurities of the body through his treatise on Ayurveda
