Etiquettes, Frameworks, the AI vision & Astanga Yoga..

A parallel thought

With AI expanding into all spaces and surpassing its capabilities .. With some possible s union in the walk of man and machine.. some meandering thoughts..

Yoga literally means Union.. Union of man with the higher self.. with the Universe. And here we are in the era of AI.. The union of man and machine..

Some 2000 years back, Patanjali prescribed the 8 fold pathway to achieve this union and higher vision. The lower 5 levels of maturity, these are tangible, external and hence bahir-anga yoga

~

yama & niyama.. personal etiquettes & public etiquettes..

Snippets of code adhering to guidelines.. clean-code, hours of self-study, self-examination..

Then come complex code, multi developers, Operating Systems, Multi Threading, Multi Cores & Multi Processors; and the need for public etiquettes

~

pratyahara

Controlling the amount of consumption aahara.. Resource Management, Close Loop systems.

~

asana

With the etiquettes and control systems in place, a vision for something big..
A stable and happy foundation.. Operating Systems, Multimedia framework, Wireless stacks, IOT & Infotainment

~

pranayama

Monitoring the milage. Conservation & Sustainability.. Power & Thermal Management.. Sleep States.. Performance Governers

And the Dawn of AI.. the unseen marvel mimicking marching in singularity.. Not easy to understand the inner wiring math of its cognition.. Antar-anga-yoga

dharana -Ability to focus and latch on to a problem.. Well, nothing to complain on the focus levels of a machine.. As long as it is powered.. Infinite compute and Memory..

dhyaana- Ability to do this focus in a seamless meditative manner.. Quantum Compute?

Perhaps what is still at bay is

samadhi.. This is not for the mere mortals.. Convergence and Singularity of thought, the observer and the object.. Like my Yoga guru used to tell. This is Quantum Principles in working..
