LinkedIn feed these days is full of AI. Intangible stuff about Diffusion Models, Language Models, Transformers, ChatGPTs..
Beyond a point, everything in this world is Intangible.. The Sun rises every day painting a different sky by the force of rotation, revolution, and all other cosmic phenomena that are beyond comprehension. The food that we eat for our pleasure, and sustenance, has an amazing journey in our gut and again beyond comprehension.
Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology were all about Tangibles. Of Observation, and Deduction. Of grand architecture, design, and implementation. Of mechanics, execution, and optimization. Of unending fascination and imagination.
For the most part of my life, Literature and Poetry were in a distant realm, perhaps too abstract to be understood.
But then change does happen.. If there was Sensor design in the Tech space, adding to the glow and glitter of the gadgets, what was the scheme of Sensing and Mind in our own Experience? What was the teaching of Space and Time on this topic?
And machines too are making a landing in the abstract space of imagination, perhaps as agents and assistants. Diffusion models, transformers, LLM, Large language models, what whatever they call it. In pursuit of the abstract..
